Baaah! @ the Museum

Mon & Brec Dinghy Race
The Annual Charity Dinghy Race takes place on the Monmouth and Brecon Canal opposite the Theatre Brycheiniog at 2.30pm on Fringe Saturday. What started off as a bit of fun in 2006, has now turned into a fundraising event for the Mid Wales Air Ambulance, organised by Chris Morgan and Colin Evans, both boat owners on the canal. The event is mostly entered by boaters who want to entertain the watching crowds and normally get very wet.
A bucket collection is normally completed during the race. Since 2007 they have raised over £300 for the Air Ambulance. If anyone wants to enter it’s a £5 entry fee.
