    • Info: Donnie Joe’s American Swing brings together the best of infectious rhythms,witty tunes and poignant songs from the 1930s, 40s and 50s. This lively 6 Piece band features Huelwen Thomas on jazz fiddle, Tamasin Reardon on alto sax, Gareth Hall on piano, Ashley-John Long on double bass and Greg Evans on drums. His repertoire features a selection of carefully arranged swing and jive standards associated with such greats as Count Basie, Duke Ellington, Louis Prima, Louis Jordan, Dizzy Gillespie, Mel Torme, Louis Armstrong, Dave Frishberg and John Pizzarelli. Fun and entertainment play a large part in the musical philosophy of the ex-pat American guitarist, singer and double bassist, now resident in South Wales, so don’t expect to go away with a frown on your face.

Brecon Fringe Festival 2017

Brecon Fringe Festival 2017 will take place from Thursday, August 10 - Sunday, August 13. There are 30+ venues again in 2017 with live music and other events taking place all over town and in nearby villages.

The 2017 programme will be updated shortly  but visit us our Facebook Page  and follow @BreconFringe for up to date news and comments in the meantime.
