St Mary's is in the centre of town and is the Parish Church of Brecon. It's a family friendly venue with a large seating area. A varied and lively selection of Fringe events including music. art and poetry takes place inside this lovely old church. Worth visiting for its stained glass window too!

    • Info:   Multi-instrumentalists Chris and Veronica Perrin play from vintage jazz to 1960s pop hits. Using a looper enables them to perform on trumpet, clarinet, sax, piano, melodica, percussion and vocals They live in Northumberland but have spent several successful Winter seasons in Andalucia, Spain. As well as freelancing with other bands the duo are in the front line of Cumberland Hot Shots, Lazy River Jazz Band and Northern Lights (Spain). This is the duo’s 3rd visit to Brecon Jazz Fringe and they can’t wait!

    Alive & Kickin' Community Choir

    • Info: Founded in 2013 by singer songwriter Tanya Walker, the Alive & Kickin’ Community Choir Brecon is a choir for people of all backgrounds and singing abilities. Thanks to Tanya’s enthusiasm and boundless energy, what started with only a handful of members has now grown to a well-established and popular choir performing at many events in Brecon and beyond. The choir’s repertoire includes world music as well as contemporary, jazz, folk and classical songs. ​ They rehearse Monday evenings at The Muse, Glamorgan Street, Brecon. 7-9pm. Everyone welcome! Brecon Fringe Festival 2018

Brecon Fringe Festival 2018 takes place from Thursday, August 9 - Sunday, August 12. There are 25+ venues with live music and other events taking place all over town and in nearby villages.
