    • Info:   Back due to popular demand after last year's stunning Fringe debut are Decibelles. A passionate and innovative a cappella ladies singing group based in the Hay-on-Wye area, the group was started by Fiona Evans (MD of the Hay-on-Wye community choir) who spent most of her career working as a professional singer with groups such as The Sixteen, travelling the world over. Decibelles bring us lashings of Blues, Boogie Woogie and Jazz guaranteed to gladden the heart, get your foot tapping and raise a smile for the perfect Fringe weekend opener.

    • Info:   Sit back, unwind, browse the books, enjoy a long cool drink and bite to eat while you savour the gorgeous pared down Blues, Jazz, Ska and Soul of Bella & Gareth. Bella has one of the best new soul voices around and you've never seen anyone play Blues guitar like Gareth. This amazing duo are taking the music world by storm and here they are, just for you, for one afternoon only, in beautiful Brecon. Get here early – they usually pack the place to it's wonky green rafters.

    • Info: Jazz favourites Afternoon in Paris return to The Hours with a sultry, smoky, exhilarating repertoire that melds all the very best of the Gypsy, Swing, Latin and Hot Club Jazz worlds. Theirs is a veritable musical feast of sizzling bass clarinet, stand-up bass and guitar that takes you on a journey through the jazz clubs of Paris and Hamburg and the cafes of Eastern Europe and Cuba on an evening in Brecon that promises to be a Fringe Saturday to remember.

    Keith Little Swing Trio

    • Info:   Brecon Fringe favourite Keith Little returns to play with his Swing combo after two years away in Germany. Featuring Ceri Williams on trumpet and Donnie Joe Sweeney on double bass and vocals, there'll be Swing from the 40s, a touch of Dixie and a smattering of Shuffle besides. All the musical ingredients required for a swinging Fringe Sunday afternoon.

Oh yes, it's the one and only Paul Keddle and his cool as cats band of musical men with an evening of foot-tapping, hip-swinging, heart-stopping, sassy, smooth Rhythm & Blues to give you a Fringe weekend closer to remember... Oh yeah.

Brecon Fringe Festival 2017

Brecon Fringe Festival 2017 will take place from Thursday, August 10 - Sunday, August 13. There are 30+ venues again in 2017 with live music and other events taking place all over town and in nearby villages.
